The COVID –19 pandemic has had many impacts on our lives- and on the lives of our pets. The 2021 PDSA Animal Wellbeing (PAW) Report has focused on investigating and reporting on these changes for the UK’s pet dogs, cats and rabbits. This session looks at how the pandemic has affected PDSA and our patients, as well as looking at how the 2021 PAW Report findings can help us continue to improve pet wellbeing across the UK. The session covers 5 key areas; pet population, pet acquisition, behaviour, obesity and preventive healthcare. We’ll be looking at how we’re already using PAW findings and focusing our resources to continue to help pet welfare, as well as providing practical tips and advice on tackling these issues in our hospitals from some of our own PDSA experts. The course will take approximately 1.5 hours to complete. We have broken it down in to 4 individual modules so that you can complete it in bite size sections
